Students marked their Order of Operations with Fractions Tests and made corrections at the same time.
The class received their Fractions Tests back and Progress Reports for Term 1. I then spoke with each student individually to check in and see how the course is going for them so far. Order of Operations with Fractions Review was worked on in preparation for an order of operations test on Monday. The answer key was given for students to check their work. Happy weekend :)
Please hand in your signed Progress Report on Monday and study for the Order of Operations with Fractions Test on Monday! The class started the double block with an attendance question. Next, we took notes on addition and subtraction of fractions and then started on the 'Order of Operations with Fractions' questions. An answer key for this worksheet was shared, so that students could check their answers. Some students also got to working on 'Adding Mixed Numbers' or 'Fraction Word Problems'. Then, the last 20 minutes of class was spent playing Uno!
